What type of ABS systems do you offer?
We focus on MK60 based ABS systems that are tailored to a wide variety of applications and chassis.
What cars can your ABS systems be installed on?
Our systems can be made to work on a huge variety of chassis. With the Race ABS systems the ABS is completely customized to your chassis configuration. The only requirement is installation of compatible wheel speed sensors. We have compiled a large library of compatible sensors and can find a solution that will fit your chassis. The majority of the time we can find an off the shelf solution. Failing that we have in-house CAD and 3D printing capabilities and can out-source laser cutting or machining adapters.
What are the different types of MK60 systems and how are they different?
There are 2 basic flavors of MK60 system; there are street car based systems and Race ABS systems. The first flavor is the street system typically use an E46 M3 MK60 unit keeping the software on the unit as it came from the factory. The street units can also be flashed with the BMW CSL parameters which offers an incremental improvement over the base level software. The second flavor is the Race ABS system which takes a street based ABS unit and entirely replaces the software with Continental Motorsport Race ABS. Race ABS is designed to be a threshold braking assistant; so long as the driver is supplying sufficient brake pressure the system will hold the tires at the limit of grip.
Can an MK60 be integrated with my standalone ECU to enable traction control?
100% yes! The MK60 street systems have discrete digital outputs for each wheel which can be connected to your ECU’s digital inputs for traction control. The Race ABS based systems also have digital outputs but add a CANBUS data stream which can be integrated with your car’s overall CANBUS system.
I just bought an MK60 system from you, do you have installation instructions?
